Supply & Manufacturing Controller

We are seeking a Supply & Manufacturing Controller to lead financial planning, performance management, and operational finance activities across our manufacturing and supply chain organization. This role will serve as a strategic business partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Executive Leadership, ensuring financial discipline while enabling operational excellence and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

In Partnership with Supply Chain:

• Lead end-to-end inventory: accurate movements, valuation, reconciliations, reserves, key financial outputs and reporting
• Drive inventory-related controls and compliance requirements, including SOX, control execution, and audit support.
• Lead product costing activities
• Oversee costing runs and standard cost validation to help ensure accurate financial and operational reporting.
• Active involvement in pricing strategies and policy including transfer price model
• Liaise with Tax, Controllers team and Business to ensure VAT compliance
• Be a key point of contact for external and internal auditors for local legal entity in relation to Business operations
• Provide strategic and operational business support, including reporting
• Be instrumental in the S&OP process for launch readiness

Finance Processes:

• Lead financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and advanced financial modelling
• Ensures system and financial controls are in place and determines the operation’s consistency with company objectives and standards
• Provide recommendations to improve Business efficiency measures through the optimization of resource allocation and P&L management
• Ensure requests, reports and presentations are submitted timely with high-quality comments
• Continuously challenge the status quo and provide innovative solutions for efficiencies to streamline processes
• Ensure that new/existing Policies & Procedures, Internal Controls are adapted to local and business requirements and in line with our company standards
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities within SC finance
• Contribute to data governance and data integrity initiatives across finance processes
• Ensure financial statements fully comply with French and IFRS Gaap, potentially US Gaap

Experience and Qualification Required:

• Advanced degree (Master in Finance & Control, Business Economics, Accounting or similar)
• 10–15 years in industrial controlling, supply chain finance, or similar roles (Pharma or Biotech company).
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills
• You are comfortable in a role where strategy and operations come together.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Proactive, reliable and someone who takes ownership
• English fluent (written and spoken): the job is internationally focused – lots of interaction with the US
• Advanced proficiency in Sage is a plus
