This Privacy Notice is valid for all pages hosted on the website. It is not valid for the pages hosted by third parties to which INVENTIVA S.A. may refer and whose privacy policies may differ. INVENTIVA S.A. cannot therefore be held responsible for any data processed on these websites or by them. This Privacy Notice also applies to any other website that INVENTIVA S.A. may operate and that does not provide for a specific notice, including company pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, X and YouTube (“Social Medias”).

- What personal INformation do we collect?
Depending on the objective of each processing, we may process different information about you. In general, this will be:
- Manage your queries: Identification data such as name, email address, and information related to your queries (e.g. made through contact forms or email addresses available on the website).
- Initiate a job application process: Identification data (such as name, email address) and professional information (such as CV, resume, information on professional background).
- Email alerts: Identification data (such as name, email address) and professional information (such as company).
- Functioning and Managing of the website: cookies may store in certain circumstances personal data which may include: IP addresses, browser type, location, operating system. For more information, please consult our Cookies Notice.
- Statistical Purposes: aggregate statistical data from company pages on Social Medias listed above.
In this case, INVENTIVA S.A. will be joint-controller with Social Medias listed above, only for the following activities: accessing and processing statistical aggregate data provided by Social Medias in relation to the company pages. For any other processing on the platform, Social Medias shall be considered as the sole data controller.

- Manage your queries: We will use your data to respond to the queries you make via the website. These can be queries made through the contact forms, or sent to the different contact email addresses appearing on our website (e.g. contact email addresses provided for general, careers, investors, media, partnership inquiries, expanded access requests, …).
- Initiate a job application process: we will use your data to initiate the job application process, if you apply to an open position or submit a spontaneous application through the means provided for on the website.
- Email alerts: We will process your personal information to manage your subscription to our email alerts (in relation to news or events relevant to the activities of INVENTIVA).

- Statistical Purposes: Some information related to followers’ visits are collected in an aggregate way by the Social Medias listed above. We can access to statistics provided by these Social Medias, in order to have information on the way our pages are consulted.
- On what basis do we use your personal Information?
- Manage your queries: We consider that we have a legitimate interest in responding to the requests or queries you have raised through the various contact channels on our website. We understand that the processing of this data is also beneficial to you, insofar as it allows us to assist you appropriately and to respond to the issues or questions raised.
- Initiate a job application process: Where you apply to a job at INVENTIVA, the processing is necessary in order to take steps at your request, prior to entering a contract.
- Email alerts: We rely on your consent (provided by completing and submitting the form on the website) to send you email alerts. Please remember that you can unsubscribe at any time and free of charge, by requesting it on the website or following the instructions within the email alerts you receive. We consider that we have a legitimate interest in the case of canvassing by post or to professionals or for similar goods and services, provided that you can object to this at any time.

- Statistical Purposes: We consider that we have legitimate interest to understand the way our page is consulted (e.g. how many times our page is consulted, from which country, …).

The retention period of your personal information will depend on the purposes for which we process such data, as explained below:
- Manage your queries: We will process your data for the time necessary to meet your request.
- Initiate a job application process:
- Email alerts: We will process your data until you unsubscribe or cancel your subscription to our email alerts, or 3 years from the last contact.

- Statistical Purposes: Statistical information are stored by Social Medias and consequently subject to their retention policy. We may export statistical reports, but we guarantee that this is only in an anonymous form.
- Data sharing
- We do not sell or trade to outside parties your personal data.
- For aggregate data, data are hosted on Social Medias servers and are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not share statistical reports that we may own.
- Subject to what is indicated in this Privacy Notice, we may communicate personal data with persons employed by INVENTIVA, INVENTIVA partners or INVENTIVA services providers, only to the extent necessary for the performance of the tasks entrusted to them.
Such sharing may involve a transfer of personal data to a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or your country. INVENTIVA S.A is therefore committed to complying with the transfer rules under applicable Data Protection Laws. - How do we protect your Personal information?
- INVENTIVA treats your personal information in a confidential manner and uses at least the same level of care in safeguarding your personal information that it uses with its own confidential information of similar nature.
- Your personal information are contained behind secured networks and are only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.
- For aggregate data, data are hosted on Social Medias servers and are subject to their own privacy policies. The statistics reports that we may extract would be stored on our servers and the same security measures apply.
- Your rights
According to data protection laws, you have rights with regards to your personal information. It includes:
- the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal information concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, information related to the processing of data and a copy of the data being processed.
- the right to require rectification of inaccurate information about you.
- the right to obtain the deletion of your personal information in the situations set forth by applicable data protection law (“Right to be forgotten”).
- the right to restrict processing of personal information under certain specified circumstances.
- the right to request for the receipt or the transfer of your personal information to another organization, in a machine-readable form.
- the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of your personal information.
- when you have given your explicit consent for the processing of your data, you can withdraw it at any time without justification.
Please note however that all these rights are not absolute, as they are subject to limitations. Each request will therefore be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
