Chris Benecchi, MBA
Chief Operating Officer
Chris Benecchi brings 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, spanning commercial, operational and strategic leadership. He has extensive experience building organizations, preparing innovative medicines for launch and leading cross-functional teams in competitive and access-challenged markets.
Most recently, Chris served as Chief Executive Officer of Motric Bio, an Aditum Bio company. Previously, at Sage Therapeutics, he held successive roles as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Business Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, where he played a central role in the U.S. launch of ZURZUVAE® and in shaping the company’s strategy and operations.
Earlier in his career, Chris led global launch preparation for BIMZELX® (bimekizumab) at UCB and oversaw global commercial excellence and launch readiness for a portfolio of rare disease therapies at Alexion. He also held commercial leadership roles at Acorda Therapeutics, Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson.
Chris holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College.
